Rani Wellingstein is a seasoned entrepreneur and founder whose previous ventures include Oryx Vision, Intucell (acquired by Cisco), Sedona Systems (acquired by Cisco), Celltick (acquired by Utimaco), NKO (acquired by ECI Telecom) and others. In the past few years, Rani invests in early-stage companies and mentors entrepreneurs. Between 2015-2017 Rani headed Baidu's venture arm in Israel, whose investments included Taboola (TBLA@Nasdaq), Dynamic Yield (acquired by McDonalds) and Pixelot. Rani holds a BSc. EE from the Technion (Israel) and an MSc. EE from Tel-Aviv University. He served five years as a sonar engineer in the technology unit of the Israeli Navy.
