Ron Babecoff, DVM, founded BiondVax in 2003 serving as its President and CEO until March 2021, through 6 successful clinical trials, an ongoing Phase 2 trial in collaboration with US NIH, and a Phase 3 (the Phase 3 didn't meet the efficacy endpoint as announced in the end of 2020) for its Universal Flu Vaccine. Under his leadership, BiondVax has executed Equity and non-dilutive fundraising of over $100 million and evolved its manufacturing from small lab to a GMP certified scale lab through mid-size commercial manufacturing facility. Among his other activities Ron is completing a four-year training as a Psychotherapist at The Hakomi Israel Institute (http://hakomiisrael.com/). This newly acquired skill, together with his entrepreneurial and leadership experience, expand his interpersonal abilities.
