Bob Witkow is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategic business and corporate development, particularly in technology sales, marketing, new product launch, and intellectual property transactions. His professional journey began in the management training program at 3M Company, where he was ranked #1 in his cohort. As the founder and CEO of Emet Surgical, he is driven by his personal experiences as a cancer survivor to develop innovative tools for cancer surgery aimed at improving outcomes and reducing costs. Under his leadership, Emet Surgical has initiated several groundbreaking projects, including the TrueMarginTM tumor margin marking system and the Enhanced Surgical Precision (ESP) system for robotic-assisted and laparoscopic surgeries. Prior to founding Emet Surgical, Bob served as President of Westwood Marketing, where he provided strategic consulting services to major players in the memory semiconductor industry, including Samsung and Intel. His efforts in business development and intellectual property licensing significantly enhanced revenue and operational efficiency for his clients. Bob has a proven track record of managing product launches and securing strategic funding for startups, contributing to substantial returns for investors. His earlier roles include leadership positions at Lexar Media and M-Systems, where he successfully drove sales and market penetration for innovative digital technology solutions. With a history of exceeding revenue and profitability targets and managing high-performing teams, Bob's expertise spans various facets of technology and business strategy. Bob holds a B.A. degree from California State University Northridge and has pursued ongoing education in intellectual property and licensing law at Pepperdine University, UCLA, and the University of Colorado. Bob splits his time between Denver, Colorado and Tel Aviv, Israel.
