Eyal Ben Esti

MicroSteer
Overview
Married to Hadas and father to Talia (18), Daniel (15) and Reut (11), I live in Kfar Hahoresh, a kibbutz in northern Israel.
At the age of 18, I joined the elite program Psagot, in which one completes a double first degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics in mere four years.
Following my graduation at the Technion, I joined “81 Unit”, the technological unit of the intelligence core in IDF, where I served for over 8 years in different roles of complex systems development.
In 2011, and not without mixed emotions, I decided to leave the army and embarked on a medical device career with Lumenis, a large-scale company developing laser devices for aesthetics and surgical applications. During the following 13 years I held several technical and managerial positions within Lumenis, including Hardware Department Manager, System Engineer, R&D Programs Director and Senior Product Director. In the period 2018-2021, during
my wife’s post-doctorship in Yale University, my family and I relocated to Connecticut, US, where I continued to work for Lumenis’ Business Unit.
In August 2024, I joined as the CEO of a vibrant exciting startup company, MicroSteer, focusing on endoscopic treatment of complex GI lesions.
