Lea holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion, an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, and an MBA from Haifa University. With over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry, she specializes in leading innovations from concept to product — spanning R&D, manufacturing, regulatory pathways, clinical trials, and global market launch.

Throughout her career, Lea has led the development of breakthrough medical technologies, including a transcatheter artificial heart valve and novel solutions in cardiology and gastroenterology. Having contributed to multiple successful exits to leading global medtech companies, she demonstrates a proven record of value creation, creativity, and determination.

Currently, Lea serves as CEO of UPnRIDE Robotics, a company dedicated to turning disabilities into possibilities through groundbreaking mobility technology. Under her leadership, UPnRIDE continues to revolutionize mobility and independence for people with disabilities worldwide.
