Overview

Nisim completed his Ph. D in Neuroscience from Tel Aviv University in 2019. He studied new methods for drug delivery and development for neurological and psychiatric disorders based on Nanoparticles secreted from stem cells (exosomes). During his Ph.D., Nisim Published eight papers in high-profile papers (over 1400 citations by 2024) and two patents. One was licensed to StemCell Medicine LTD, where Nisim was a Senior scientist from 2019 to 2020, and the second was licensed to Nurexone Biologic, established in 2020; Nisim was recruited as the leading scientist and tech-transfer expert, and during this time, the company submitted four additional patents on Nisim's invention which led to complete freedom to operate in this field. Nurexone Biologic is listed in the Canadian and German stock markets. In 2020, Nisim founded ITAY&BEYOD with Mr. Shmulik Bezalel — a drug discovery platform company for neurological and psychiatric disorders. Nisim is the CEO of ITAY&BEYOND that is now developing an organoid on a chip-based technology for drug discovery and testing for neurological and psychiatric disorders. About three million USD were invested so far, the company is after successful POC and four submitted patents. Nisim is also the author of "Let there be light," a popular neuroscience book.
