Overview

Oren Becker co-founded, Founding President of R&D and Board member of Upstream Bio, a US biotech company focused on inflammation, which was launched in June 2022 with $200M financing, and had a successful IPO on NASDAQ in 2025 (NASDAQ:UPB). Oren is a Board member of Vidac Pharma (XSTU:T9G) and Immunity Pharma. Formerly, Oren was President and CEO of Vidac Pharma, Founder, CEO and Board member of Dynamix Pharmaceuticals, co-founder, CSO and Board member of Epix/Predix Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:EPIX). Previously, Oren was a professor of computational drug discovery at Tel-Aviv University and visiting professor at Harvard University. He is currently Chairing the Advisory Committee for the ‘Graduate Program in Regulatory Science’ at Tel Aviv University. He holds a PhD from the Hebrew University, and a post-doctorate from Harvard University in computational biophysics.
